- Steven100, you figure wrong. Any parent who has a sick child will do almost anything for the well being of their child. A parent will move mountains to heal their sick child. This woman is obviosely off her rocker or just doesn't care about her daughter.

- very true! Correa (the Ecuadorian president) has practically becomes a dictator. He's almost totally abolished the freedom of speech and free press. He dissolved congress so no one can vote against any law he passes, no matter how stupid or ridiculous the law may be.

- This happens all the time. People who aren't citizens, who are not of age and even those who have been dead for several years are still called to jury duty. I don't know who manages the database they use but they better tell those people to get thier act together!
Children who are spanked have lower IQs

- I agree with the people that say they have been spanked and turned out just fine and even more so above average. If you look at the geniuses of the past I can almost guarantee you that at least 90% of them were spanked as children and yet this did not affect in any way thier intelligence.
